Charles (Chuck) O. Bowman started Guaranty Insurance
Agency in Lamar, Colorado in 1923. The companion business of the insurance
agency is even older, having been founded as Guaranty Abstract Company
about 1895 before there was a Prowers County. The two businesses
have continued to thrive in Southeast Colorado.
In July 1992 the insurance agency was sold to Lawrence Brase. The agency continues to do business at 316 S. Main Street in Lamar as it has since 1961. The independent agency has grown in the insurance business representing carefully selected groups of financially sound, reputable insurance companies. The agency is able to place your policy with the company offering the best coverage at a competitive price. Our primary objectives are to be honest and fair in our dealings, to be interested in people and their needs, and to treat the client’s needs as though they were our own. We have a commitment to maintain a high standard of excellence in all that we do and to establish a firm relationship of mutual trust and service with each of our clients. Guaranty Insurance Agency is a member of the Colorado Insurance Network,
Inc., established in 1993 as a joint effort to create a network of independent
agencies to provide expanded insurance markets to our clients. Currently,
the network consists of eighteen agencies located primarily in rural Colorado
communities. We are also members of Professional Independent Insurance
Agents of Colorado, Independent Insurance Agents of America, and The Professional
Insurance Agents of America.
