Married to Eddy Bellomy since 2005 and together we have raised 4 AWESOME kiddos and currently have 7 grandkids! We enjoy watching girls’ softball and girls wrestling as well as our grandkids recreation sports. I oversee the summer rec program for girls’ softball and love this season, you will see me at the ball fields from April till end of October for summer ball and high school ball! My husband Eddy has owned his business, EZ Flooring since 2012 as a floor installer and also is the assistant coach for Lamar High School Girls Wrestling.

I’ve lived in Lamar my entire life! Commuting back and forth to Pueblo in 1999-2001 for college, receiving my Associates of Applied Sciences degree from Pueblo Community College May 2001. I started a career as a respiratory therapist in 2000, but after my sister-in-law Wendy Bellomy recommended, I talk to Lawrence Brase about an agent position, my whole life changed in 2010!

My job as an insurance agent is to write the best policy of coverages I can at the best prices we can provide and SERVICE is our top goal for all of our client’s needs. I started at Brase Insurance Agency in 2010 and then purchased it from retiring agent Lawrence Brase in 2021 and renamed it to Bellomy Insurance Agency in 2022. Our staff is dedicated to servicing our clients from quoting to claims, to questions on coverages and why they are or are not necessary.

Our agency logo has always been “If you don’t know insurance, know your agent” and myself growing up here in Lamar/Prowers County is a blessing to help my clients know who they are reaching out to for their insurance needs.

Born and raised in Lamar, Mandy brings over five years of experience and a deep connection to the local community to her role as a licensed independent insurance agent. After spending some time in Indiana, she returned to Lamar in 2018 to continue her career in the community she calls home.

Before entering the insurance industry, Mandy worked in Parks & Recreation, where she developed a strong commitment to community service and building meaningful relationships. This experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of the needs of families and individuals in our community. She has developed a strong reputation for guiding clients through their insurance options with confidence and care.

Outside of work, Mandy is an animal lover who enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She takes great pride in being an aunt and cherishes moments with her nieces and nephews. Whether she's going on road trips, attending live concerts, or enjoying the outdoors, Mandy makes the most of every adventure life has to offer.
